A visit from Charity the guide dog

Headington welcomed back Charity the guide dog as part of a long standing relationship with a charity that provides dogs for visually impaired people.

Richard Hummerston, Annette Hornsby and Charity made a follow-up visit on Tuesday 21st May to collect money raised by the L4 through their talent show. Head of Lower School, Mrs Dianne Bates-Brownsword said: “It was lovely to sit and have a chat with Richard and Annette while Charity enjoyed being made a fuss of!”

Richard visits the School every year to share with the girls what it is like for someone to live with a disability such as blindness and how he has helped breed guide dogs and raise money for the charity over the years.
