There is no typical Headington girl and there is certainly no typical Headington applicant! We welcome applications from girls from a huge range of different academic and cultural backgrounds, both locally into the Prep and Senior School as day girls, and from all over the world into our Senior School boarding community.

Arrange a Visit

We are always delighted to welcome you to Headington and hold a range of different events for those interested in finding out more about life at our school. These range from our full showcase Saturday open morning in October, to opportunities to Meet the Headmistress in a more intimate setting as well as individual visits.

How to apply

Our main entry points are at Reception, Year 3 and Year 5 in the Prep School and Year 7 (Upper 3), Year 9 (Upper 4) and Year 12 (Lower 6) in the Senior School but we welcome applications at many different entry points depending on the availability of places. The process and requirements will vary depending on your daughter’s age.
