Boarding is available at Headington School for girls aged 9 and upwards, and the boarding community plays a key role in school life. It provides girls with a secure environment in which to learn to become individuals with a sound set of values. Successful boarding is based on trust and mutual respect and as the girls are nurtured within the boarding community they learn to embrace these values which provide such a sound basis for life. Long lasting friendships are formed within the boarding community and provide the kind of cross cultural links which are so essential to life. 

As Head of Boarding I have the whole overview of the boarding community at Headington. I appreciate that the needs of parents and their daughters are different and that every requirement is unique. We have an experienced boarding team here at Headington who wish to make the boarding experience an excellent one for each girl and her parents.
