Meet Malika

L4 actress

Malika joined Headington in Nursery and is a Drama Scholar. While at the Prep School, she played the role of Romeo in Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and has recently secured the part of Lucy in ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’. She also enjoys Art and partakes in a number of Art clubs and loves Dance, and is her form’s Diversity representative.

On Drama at Headington

It’s really good and there are lots of opportunities to be in plays. In Prep, we didn’t have them as often but now I’m in Senior School there are a lot more. There’s also things like Drama Club, things specifically for scholars as well as plays that anyone can audition for. The teachers are really nice and supportive and they push you to be good at Drama.

On Headington

There are so many opportunities and different clubs – you can do anything at Headington. It’s so nice here!

On her ambitions

I would like to be the Diversity Prefect and I would also like to continue to get big parts in plays and take part in the majority of plays that I can. I want to be an actress when I’m older.
