Young Scientist of the Year

On November 16th, the School had the fantastic opportunity to celebrate the outstanding commitment and achievements of three of Headington’s finest U6 scientists.

Farah has been nominated for exceptional enthusiasm in Biology, Ali for her outstanding passion for Chemistry and Saskia for her commitment and excellent contributions to Physics.

The award ceremony was held at the Oxford Science Centre in Headington Quarry and pupils and guests had the chance to socialise with the other nominees from schools all over Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire to celebrate their achievements.

This memorable evening was filled with inspiration, recognition and celebration of scientific excellence and along with the awards, the evening included talks from STEM industry experts who shared their valuable insights and experiences of their own STEM journeys.
