Year 6 Play – Romeo & Juliet

Budding actresses in Year 6 dazzled their parents and peers this week as they showcased their performances of ‘Romeo and Juliet’.

From start to finish, the whole year group worked together seamlessly to create a high-energy production packed with tension, drama and lots of fantastic songs.

Pupils worked collaboratively to paint their own set, make their own Venetian masks and many sourced their own costumes as well.

Mrs Vicky Horrobin, Year 6 teacher, said “We were all hugely impressed by the level of talent across the year group – acting, singing, dancing and more – and we are incredibly proud of them all. This show was a wonderful testament to the journey they have been on and will provide lasting memories for them as they move on to the next stage of their education.”

Well done Year 6!
