Year 4 Cricket at Cokethorpe

A group of Year 4 pupils travelled to Cokethorpe School on Tuesday 29th April for their first Cricket event of the term.

The afternoon was an introduction to competitive Cricket and a chance for the players to develop their skills in batting, bowling and fielding and also play a game of Kwik Cricket.

The pupils were split into four groups and they then rotated around three of the events. It was clear to see progression in all of their skills as the afternoon went on.

Quotes from the afternoon included: “I had fun learning how to bowl overarm” and “I enjoyed practising my batting and seeing how far I could hit the ball.”
