Year 2 Royal Tea Party
Year 2 enjoyed a Royal tea party as the memorable experience to start their new topic ‘Bright Lights, Big City’.
After changing into suitable party outfits, the girls made crowns to wear and learned how to curtsy from the Lord Chamberlain.
The class then sat down to a dainty afternoon tea of cucumber sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and cupcakes. Polite conversation was enjoyed by all before a little dancing!
The girls also practiced singing the national anthem for the new King. Tea was definitely the highlight of the afternoon!
