Ufton Court residential for Year 4

Year 4 visited Ufton Court in February to experience history first hand during their residential. Through immersive learning they discovered the history of the building and the grounds, the rivalry of religions at the time and how people had lived off the land in Tudor times. They enjoyed a Tudor banquet dressed for the part followed by dancing and instrumental performances. They practiced writing with quills, playing games and enjoying some crafts. They even marched through the grounds cheering ‘God save the Queen’ and had an exciting tug of war. The pupils had a great time learning and reenacting situations.
