U9 Athletics at Cokethorpe

Some of our youngest athletes travelled to Cokethorpe School on a sunny day to take part in a circuit of athletics events.

It was a fantastic afternoon with all children, in the U9 age group, participating in 60-yard dash, standing long jump, speed bounce, quoit throw, vortex, 200m run and sprint relays.

They received a little bit of coaching at each station and enjoyed mixing with children from a number of different schools. Well done to all who took part:
