U10 Netball vs Oxford High
Thursday 18th January, U10A and B teams v Oxford High School
U10A:
This was an exciting first Netball match for the U10 team and the game started at a fast pace with the first quarter being a 2-2 draw. In the next phase of the game, Oxford High pulled away as Headington struggled to mark their opponents. The final quarter of the game proved to be Headington’s strongest part of the game with the children working incredibly hard and applying some excellent passing and movement patterns to their play. A great start to the Netball season – well played everyone.
U10B:
The U10B team showed some great team play in their first fixture of the year. Footwork still needs a little bit of work, but the attacking play showed good understanding of space and the defending improved throughout the game. They also showed a great awareness of teammates as the passing movements up the court were very quick.
