This was the first game of the season and the team looked a little nervous, but once they got into their stride with the bowling they showed good accuracy and some quick fielding, getting 3 wickets. Headington batted well and showed good communication in their pairs about when to take a single run and when to wait. Well played everyone.

U10B v Rye U11 Lost 90 – 46
Player of the match – Lena and Alice

The U10B team showed some good fielding skills in this game, preventing some early boundaries. Rye had warmed up to the game by this point and were showing much better batting. Headington scored well when they went in to bat, but lost three wickets in total. It was great to see so many girls playing the game after all of their hard work at training. Well played.
