Swimming v The Manor Prep School

On Thursday 1st May Headington Rye Oxford Prep School welcomed The Manor Prep School to face off in the Swimming Pool for the final time this year.

The match proved to be very exciting, with only a handful of points separating the schools throughout the afternoon.

Headington Rye were well drilled in the relays and some gusty finishes by the fourth placed swimmer kept the points between the schools on an even keel.

In the individual races, Headington Rye dominated in the Breaststroke races, winning first and second in most of the age groups.

The Manor proved tough competitors in the Butterfly races, where they accumulated points to fight back.

By the Freestyle relays, the points were even and it would come down to the final events to decide the overall winner.

Headington Rye were very excited to come out on top with 97 points followed by The Manor with 94 points.

Well done to everyone who swam.
