Scholar dances her way into prestigious scheme

A Headington dance scholar has won a coveted place at a competitive dance training scheme.

Madeleine, L6, successfully auditioned for the Centre of Advanced Training at The Place in London.

The scheme involves training at the world-renowned dance studio, The Place, every weekend for training in Ballet, Contemporary and Creative Dance.

Faith Jackson, Headington’s Director of Dance said: “This is an outstanding achievement as the training is for students with exceptional ability. The scheme offers specialist coaching, supporting students’ progress which will be amazing for Madeleine. Well done her!”

Madeleine said: “Overall I’m really excited and shocked as I wasn’t expecting to get in!”
