River Thames boat trip

Year 2 took an exciting boat trip along the River Thames with Salter’s Steamers. The captain helped the children to collect words relating to life along the river for an A to Z treasure map challenge. Rowing boats, paddle boarders, a weir, swans, ducklings and Tom the tug boat were just some of the many things spotted. Despite the cold weather, it really was a wonderful memorable experience for our last topic of the year, ‘Land Ahoy!’.
