Regional Tennis Result

Headington School took on Northampton High School to gain entry to the next stage of the regional tennis competition.

Northampton High School were very strong opponents. Headington’s U13 team, playing on home turf, put up a brave effort however the opposition proved too much for them.

It looked to be a similar story in the U15s with their no 1 and 2 players beating both Darcy and Georgie. However, a sterling performance from Clemmie and Esme dragged the team back into the reckoning, as they won both their singles and doubles matches to force a play off which the girls went on to win!

Head of Tennis Mr Jim Baker said: “Thank you for supporting the girls that represented us in the regional stage of the LTA team tennis competition. “

Well done girls!!
