Philosophy Presentation Evening

The inaugural L5 Philosophy short course presentation evening took place on Wednesday evening in the main library.

Our cohort of 24 pupils displayed their research projects, on topics including the subjective nature of beauty, the ethics of mass surveillance, free will and determinism and the nature of truth, amongst many others.

The standard of the work was superb and the pupils took questions about their projects from staff, peers and visitors.

Philosophy teacher Mrs Helen Whitworth said: “The evening was a wonderful culmination of their excellent efforts and we were incredibly proud of their hard work.”
