Peter Pan!

The Year 6 play – Peter Pan – was a resounding success! The cast and crew brought a sprinkle of fairy dust to the stage as children enchanted audiences for two unforgettable evenings.

The play had two casts to share the spotlight and each had the chance to perform across the two separate evenings.

It was incredible to see how the children were so adaptable and managed to perform both as part of the ensemble and the lead roles across both performances. From the opening scene to the final bow, the pupils delivered heart-warming and high energy performances.

Accompanied by Mrs Amy Evetts on the piano, the production features some fantastic musical numbers. There was also some wonderful choreography on show, from ballet to modern and even a thrilling sword fighting scene.

Mrs Horrobin, who directed the production said: “Each child shone in whichever role they played in, regardless if it was on stage or in the chorus.

“I’d like to thank all of the teachers for all of their help, I couldn’t have done it without you, especially Mrs O’Toole who did such a wonderful job in the lighting and tech department!”
