Oxbridge interview practice

Last week Headington School were delighted to welcome back Headingtonians Sophie Jones (2021) and Morgane Bascle (2020) in order to talk with current sixth form students about applying and interviewing for places at Oxbridge.

Both Headingtonians are reading PPE at Oxford; Sophie is first year at New College, Morgane is second year at St Hugh’s. Having studied Economics during their Sixth Form here at Headington, their help has been invaluable to those applying to Oxbridge.

Mr George Vlachonikolis, Head of Economics at Headington School said: “It was wonderful to invite the past Headington economists back to school to talk with our girls. The advice they gave was constructive and concise for each girl who wished to apply to the prestigious universities. I was proud to see my students of years past passing on their knowledge, but also seeing and hearing about them thriving in their new environments!”
