Nursery PE Lesson
Last week in Nursery’s PE lesson the children were very excited to go onto the tennis courts.
The pupils were each given a tennis racquet, placed into groups and asked to make a snake of their racquets to the net.
The first child placed their racquet down and then the next person put theirs in front until they had all placed their racquets down one in front of the other. Head of Sport Miss Hattie Taylor then asked how they could get to the net now they had used all of their racquets. Maya suggested maybe we could use the first racquet and place it at the other end to continue our chain.
Next they were each given a tennis ball, they had to roll the ball towards a hoop if they got the ball in the hoop they could flip the hoop forward until the hoop reached the net.
Miss Taylor said: “All of the Nursery children were fantastic at waiting for their turn and showed great team work and problem-solving skills. Amazing work everyone.”
