National Prep Schools Athletics Finals 2023
Abby, Phoebe and Evie headed to Nuneaton for the National Prep Schools Athletics Finals.
Abby was up first in the hurdles. The weather conditions were not ideal with gusty winds and showers increasing the difficulty for the competitors. Abby gave it her all in the heat and although she did not make it through to the final she finished a creditable 12th overall.
Phoebe performed exceptionally well in the 100 m sprint. In the heats she qualified in equal 4th place (3 competitors with the same time!). In the final there was another blanket finish and Phoebe claimed 5th overall.
Evie was nervous going into her first athletics final. In the round she threw consistently to finish in the top 8 which meant she got one more attempt in the final round. She claimed 7th overall which is a great building block for next year!
