Milestone for Headington Connect

In Headington’s Year of Community as the end of term draws to a close, the School’s professional networking site Headington Connect has now hit 1000 members!

Through the platform many connections have been made between parents, alumnae and sixth formers. More than 60 per cent of members have said they are ‘willing to help’. Members can offer to provide support in a variety of ways including sharing expertise, reviewing CVs, introduction to connections or offering work experience or internships.

Headington Connect has also enabled the School to launch its exciting Headington Futures programme for U6 students – a series of inspiring interviews, podcasts and digital conversations with Headington Connect members.

Development Manager Mrs Alice Abbott said: “We were absolutely delighted by the number of parents and alumnae who took part in this exciting initiative and we look forward to sharing it with our wider community in the future.”

As well as taking advantage of the business networking opportunities through the platform, Headington Connect also allows members to connect socially, enabling alumnae to re-connect, organise reunions and stay in touch.

If you have not done so already you can sign up with your email or LinkedIn profile at www.headingtonconnect.org. It is also available to download on android by searching ‘Headington Connect’ or for iOS please download the ‘Graduway Community’ app and select Headington Connect from the list.
