Athletics Finals

Dana and Jess headed to Nuneaton for the Mercia National Prep Schools Athletics Finals held in Nuneaton. Both girls had a mixture of excitement and nerves!

Dana was up first and was very proud to be Headington Prep’s first ever entry in the hurdles. In the heats she gave a gutsy performance finishing 6th. This was not quite enough for her to progress to the finals but she finished a creditable 11th overall.

Jess performed with great shot-put technique to finish in the top 8 which meant she got one more attempt in the final round. She claimed 7th overall. A very well done to both girls.
