Mercia Athletics 2023
A team of Prep School athletes were put through their paces at the Mercia Regional Athletics Competition on Thursday 15th June.
In order to go to the Regionals the athletes had to reach a required standard. It was a great experience for them all-many of whom it was their first ever Athletics meeting (apart from school matches). Abby (hurdles), Phoebe (100 metres) and Evie (javelin) have all qualified for the National Finals which will be held in Nuneaton on Monday 3rd July.
Head of Sport Miss Laura Smith said: “Well done to all of those who competed! We wish those going to the National Finals the very best of luck.”
