Headington’s virtual Art galleries

During lockdown, Headington School’s Art Department have been collecting artwork from girls to compile and showcase in a series of virtual online exhibitions.

The girls have been experimenting with a variety of different art forms and mediums. Creating art at home has been both challenging and enriching, working without a studio and without the tools a studio can offer them.

Acting Director of Art Mrs Tova Dalgleish said: “It has been interesting to see the ingenuity of the girls to adapt when creating their visions in a different environment.”

The U3 exhibition, which can be found here, mostly comprises portraits and self-portraits in a variety of forms.

The U4 exhibition, here, has been an exploration into natural forms.
