Headington Rye taster days

All the year groups from Headington Prep School and Rye St Antony Prep School have enjoyed a shared lesson over the last couple of weeks.

The younger children had a fantastic time at Rye’s Forest School where they made leaf rainbows and model hedgehogs, as well as enjoying hot chocolate and biscuits for their mid-morning break. It was great to see some of the Rye pupils proudly showing the Headington pupils around their Forest School site and their favourite areas.

The older children had shared sports lessons, again on the Rye site. They worked together in team building games and played capture the flag, stuck in the mud and dodgeball, with mixed teams from both schools.

It served as a wonderful opportunity to meet the children that they will be sharing a class with from September next year and they seemed to have a great time with lots of laughter ringing around the Sports Hall and artificial pitch.
