GCSE Drama practical exams

U5 GCSE Drama students completed their practical examinations on Tuesday 10th March.

They performed short extracts from plays such as ‘Antigone’, ‘Death of a Salesman’ and ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time’.

There were fantastic performances across all taking part, who performed a combination of monologues and duologues to parents and friends, as well as an external examiner.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, over 60 students also took their Trinity Speech & Drama examinations – all girls achieved at least a merit with the majority achieving distinctions.

Director of Drama Mr Phil Macken said: “A huge congratulations to them all and well done for working so hard on them.”
