GCSE Dance Day with H20

Headington dancers had a chance to learn from the professionals with a special day focusing on Dance.

On Wednesday 29th September, L5 and U5 GCSE dancers took part in a dance day taught by a professional dancer and company member of Boy Blue Dance Company.

The day focused on learning dance choreography and set work information for the GCSE work Emancipation of Expressionism, performed by Boy Blue Dance Company and choreographed by Kenrick ‘H20’ Sandy.

The classes were an exciting opportunity to learn more about this professional work to support GCSE studies and also to develop understanding of hip-hop styles of dance.

Miss Faith Jackson, Headington’s Director of Dance said: “All involved worked exceptionally well and should be very proud of their hard work!”
