GB Early ID Trials
GB Rowing’s early ID trials took place on Saturday 16th November and saw 12 Headington Rye Oxford girls attend (11 rowers + one cox). Read the report from Isobel (Year 13) below:
To start the day the girls and coaches had a three-hour drive up to Boston, Lincolnshire where the trial was held.
After rigging up their singles the rowers were ready to go afloat.
The 5 km course was tough but the girls raced excellently to all place within the top 90, with 5 girls placing in the top 20. Thank you to all the coaches for making it possible for us to attend.
