Fun at Warwick Castle

Year two enjoyed a fabulous day at Warwick Castle on Wednesday 11th September. They began the day with a guided tour showing how life would have been when the castle was first inhabited, then looked at some very old armour and weapons and learnt about sword fighting! After a picnic lunch outside, the children watched an amazing Birds of Prey display (including an Andean Condor with a 10 foot wingspan!) The day finished with an exhausting and exciting climb around the castle walls and turrets before setting off for home. A fantastic engagement activity for the new creative curriculum topic!
