Drama students explore Faustus

On Monday 27th January, Sixth Form Drama students ventured to the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith to watch an adaptation of ‘Doctor Faustus’, entitled ‘Faustus: That Damned Woman’.

The show focussed on Johanna Faustus, daughter of a convicted witch, who makes a pact with Lucifer to gain power for over 400 years and changes the world as we know it both today and in the future.

The students focused on the ever-changing stage design, film projections and costumes to identify how they have reimagined the performance.

Director of Drama Mr Phil Macken said: “This was thoroughly challenging and enjoyed by students and staff.”
