Cross Country Meeting at Chandlings

Headington runners traveled to Chandlings School for their annual cross country meeting. With 12 girls’ schools in attendance the standard is always incredibly high. It was particularly challenging this year as it was very cold with a brutal wind for the runners for most of the course. With approximately 60 runners in each race the girls should be very proud of their results in a high class field of competitors. The top four runners count towards each team placing. In the Under 8s the team were placed 8th, the U9s were 6th, the U10s 7th and the U11s finished with a great 4th place. Well done to all runners, especially those experiencing their first competition.
