Christmas at Prep

Prep has been a riot of festivity with treats for all year groups during the last three days of term.

Monday 11th December, was Christmas jumper day so there was plenty of colour throughout the School. Everyone gathered together for a festive Christmas lunch with all the trimmings and then Nursery and Reception classes enjoyed party games and pass the parcel back in the afternoon. They had a wonderful day and really enjoyed getting into the festive spirit.

On Tuesday 12th December, Year 1 and 2 classes had their own Christmas party where they enjoyed Mrs Joanna Haynes’ waffle cafe, Mrs Catherine Parker’s beauty parlour, Ms Rachel Ford’s musical games room and Miss Alexis Parsons Christmas craft centre.

On Wednesday 13th December, Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 were joined by parents for their annual Carol Service in St Andrew’s Church in Headington. There were beautiful readings, songs and poems performed by the girls as well as the traditional carols sung by the congregation. It was a lovely celebratory end to a busy term and week of festivities.

All the pupils have relished winding down ready for the holidays and hopefully they will be able to relax over these next few weeks and enjoy the approaching festivities.

Merry Christmas from all at Headington Prep School!
