Cheerleaders at ‘Kick Off’

Since September the Cheerleading team have been building up to their first performance at Oxford Brookes University for ‘Kick Off!’

The team consisted of 17 talented athletes and every one of them truly shone!

Over 300 athletes and supporters from teams around Oxford brought their routines to showcase at the event.

Cheerleading Coach Mrs Sophie Welton said: “We were delighted to put a “zero run” on the mat.

“It’s a testament to our dedication and teamwork. I’m incredibly proud of this team and we can’t wait to get to competition now!”

A ‘zero run’ means the routine was performed without deductions for stunts being dropped, errors in tumbling or safety rules being broken.
