British Physics Olympiad

Young physicists picked up a host of awards in the Intermediate British Physics Olympiad Challenge.

This prestigious competition, designed to challenge the brightest young physicists in the country, saw over 5,000 entries from more than 200 schools—making success in this event a truly remarkable accomplishment.

A huge congratulations to our Bronze, Silver, and Gold award winners in Year 10 and 11. Their dedication, perseverance, and problem-solving skills have been recognized at a national level, demonstrating both their passion for Physics and their ability to tackle complex, real-world challenges with tenacity and rigour.

Head of Science Faculty Mr Jason Morris said: “This is a well-deserved achievement and we commend all our participants for their hard work. Their success is a testament to their commitment to excellence in Physics, and we look forward to seeing where their talents take them next.
