Athlete makes Biathlon Nationals

In early October 2019, Evey, L4, competed in Abingdon’s Biathlon Trial.

The day started with a lot of rain but, luckily for all the athletes, the rain stopped as soon as they arrived on the track.

Despite windy conditions, Evey ran a fantastic race and recorded the second fastest run time behind a National top 10 athlete. Evey then swam herself to a PB (personal best) on the 100m. She hopes to have qualified for the Biathlon Nationals in Nottingham later this month.
