Academic Scholars Trip Bath
Headington Rye’s Academic Scholars travelled to Bath for their annual scholars’ trip.
Rather than visiting famous historical sites such as the Roman Baths and the Abbey, they were inspired by the chosen 2024-25 theme of ‘solution’ to find out some more unusual facts and statistics about the city and its fascinating heritage.
Solving clues as they followed a ‘treasure trail’ around the city streets and Regency terraces, they demonstrated great teamwork and observational skills.
First to complete the trail were the Year 9 scholars who worked brilliantly together to work out all the locational clues and follow the directions.
There was also time for some to taste the spa water, visit a couple of Bath’s amazing bookshops and get around to some important ice-cream sampling.
