Mr Nice Cream
On Thursday 26th June, Mr Nice Cream brought his ice cream van to Headington Rye Oxford.
The weather was absolutely beautiful—warm sunshine and a gentle breeze made it the perfect day for something cold and sweet.
As soon as the van arrived, everyone was so excited. The children all lined up happily, chattering about which flavours and toppings to choose. There were so many options, from classic chocolate and strawberry sauces to sprinkles, blue and red sherbert, marshmallows, Oreo and Biscoff crumble and not to forget a chocolate flake too.
When the children finally got their ice creams, they went to sit on the lawn in the sunshine and relaxed with friends together.
Charities Co-ordinator Mrs Veronique Summerfield said: “Everyone had so much fun. The whole school was in a great mood, and there were smiles everywhere.
“Even the teachers joined in the fun and queued up for ice creams. They were laughing, chatting with everyone, and enjoying their treats in the warm midday sun—it was lovely to see everyone so relaxed and happy.
“Overall, it was a fabulous day that we will always remember.”
The event helped raise money for the School’s charity, Ronald McDonald House.
