Year 3 Egyptian Showcase

Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed welcoming their parents to their Egyptian showcase on Wednesday 25th June.

The showcase started with Year 3 performing an Egyptian dance. The children then showcased all their hard work on ancient Egypt.

The children had all created their own detailed and informative enquiry book and carried out their own research in order to answer their own enquiry question.

They also shared their stories based on ‘Cinderella of the Nile’ and showed off their clay canopic jars and woven Egyptian necklaces.

There was lots for parents to learn too, as the children talked their parents through the stages of mummification and showed off their mummified teddy bears.
