Titus Andronicus Theatre Trip

Towards the end of May Year 12 Drama students travelled to Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of Shakespeare, to watch the highly acclaimed RSC production of Titus Andronicus, starring Olivier, Tony and BAFTA Award-winner Simon Russell Beale.

The students were lucky enough to meet him after the show and he was kind enough to give them his autograph and take a photo with him.

The play was directed by Max Webster whose recent credits include ‘Macbeth’ with David Tennant  in the West End and ‘The Importance of Being Ernest’ with Ncuti Gatwa at the National Theatre.

Director of Drama Mrs Jannicke Stevens said: “It was such a great experience and such a privilege for the girls to meet such acting royalty!”
