Trip to El Puerto de Santa Maria

From the 23rd to 27th May, pupils from Year 8 and 9, including myself, embarked on a memorable journey to El Puerto de Santa Maria, a small town located in southwest Spain.

As we crossed the border into Spain we were kindly greeted by our chaperone, Pedro, from Spark languages school.

During this trip we engaged in many activities including, visiting a local castle, going to the beach, a tapas night out, exploring the wonderful town, visiting the Torre Tavira in the city of Cádiz ,flamenco dancing, Spanish lessons and Paella making.

While on this trip I improved my understanding of Spanish and learnt more about the Spanish culture.

El Puerto de Santa Maria was a lovely town rich with culture ,which I’ll definitely be asking to visit on my next family holiday. Overall this trip was one I’ll never forget.
