Year 3 Youlbury Residential
The adventurous Year 3s recently returned from an unforgettable residential trip to Youlbury.
For some, it was their first time away from home and they all embraced every moment with excitement and enthusiasm.
During their stay, the children (and teachers!) took part in a range of exciting activities such as: zip lining, crate stacking, team building challenges, archery, morning yoga and of course, gathering round the campfire to sing songs, play games and make s’mores.
Year 3 teacher Mrs Louise Dell said: “These experiences pushed them out of their comfort zone and gave them a chance to face their fears.
“It was wonderful to see them cheering each other on and supporting each other. Staying in dorms with their friends added to fun… but not to the sleep!”
The trip provided the perfect opportunity for the children to grow in confidence, learn new skills and work together as a team.
Mrs Dell said: “A huge well done to all of Year 3 for their fantastic attitude and adventurous spirit.”
