GB Munich Junior Regatta

Five members of Headington Rye Oxford’s championship-winning boat club were invited to put themselves forward for selection to represent Great Britain.

The five rowers, Elayna, Selam, Sophie, Lucy and Alice (Cox), were invited to the GB Spring Assessments in March.

Following an intense four-day GB U19 Women’s Spring Trial, four Headington Rye rowers were selected to represent GB in Munich as part of the U19 Women’s sweep team.

The Munich Junior Regatta is a two-day event where the GB team fields crews to test what may be feasible crews for the summer races. Well done to Sophie, Lucy, and Elayna who all received medals during the regatta.
