Regional Swim Finals

The Headington Rye Oxford Prep School relay squad travelled to Guildford on Saturday to participate in the English Schools Swimming Association regional finals.

The team had qualified from the county rounds in both the Freestyle relay and the Medley relay.

Despite a fairly long drive, the girls were ready to go and started the competition with a confident warm up.

This prepared them well for their qualifying heats which saw the girls move through the rounds into the final of the Freestyle relay.

Overall the girls placed fifth regionally which is an excellent achievement considering the high level of competition at the gala. They also achieved a PB, or personal best. Well done, girls!
