Travel to school

Set in the heart of Oxford, just one mile from the city centre, Headington is easily accessible via the A40 from London or the west. A number of local buses stop outside the Senior School, and the Oxford Tube and Oxford Express bus services to London run every 15 minutes from just outside the school gates.

Girls travel to school from a wide area using a variety of transport methods. You can view public transport options below, or explore ways to get to school by private buses, walking and cycling or by car.

Local bus routes

Headington is very well-served by local bus routes and the main routes are listed below. The links below will give you further route and timetable information. Bus routes listed under Headington Hill or adjacent to Oxford Brookes University stop at the school gates.

Train

Lots of girls travel to school by train to Oxford Station before taking the bus to the school gates. The 400 bus will bring you straight to the School - please ensure that you catch a bus towards Thornhill.
