Meet Miuccia
Miuccia joined the School in Cornflower Nursery. She plays the organ, piano, cello and violin and also sings. She is part of ensembles including the Prep School Orchestra and a strings group and prefers playing Classical, Romantic and Baroque music. As well as Music, she enjoys Art and Textiles and embroidery.
On Music at Headington
In our music lessons we have done a lot of things like the Magic Flute and we have tried to compose our own version of those songs, which I liked. There are also opportunities to perform.
On her goals
I think I need to get a bit more confident about how much I can achieve. By the end of Year 6, I would like to do my Grade 8 Piano exam so I can do a Diploma during the upper years. I also quite like Art but I think I’m better at Music. I want to see what the Hive is like when I go to the Senior School!
