Year 7 Condover Residential Trip
Year 7 pupils spent three days in Shropshire at the splendid Condover Hall site this week.
This was an adventure holiday complete with trapeze, kayaking games, climbing and zip wiring but it was the freedom which many pupils cited as their favourite part of the experience.
The girls left phones and all electronic devices behind for a few days, a sensation which, at first, many of the pupils found quite challenging.
However, the “chance to get out in the woods” and the “big open spaces” were what Emeline, Grace and Flo enjoyed the most.
“Properly laughing with friends”, “trying out new things” and “long relaxed breaks” gave many an unhurried feeling which they appreciated.
Head of Year Mrs Lorraine Angel said: “It was fantastic to see pupils chatting, playing cards, relaxing and deepening their connection within their form groups which will continue into Year 8.”
