Women’s Softball Cricket Festival

On Saturday 15th June 2019, Headington School will be welcoming women from across Oxfordshire to participate in a Softball Cricket festival organised together with Oxford Cricket Club.

Headington School cricketers are growing in success with the U13 Cricket team recently winning the Didcot U13 Girls Softball Festival. Year 3 and upwards are participating in Softball training and competitions and it’s proving to be a fantastic introduction to Cricket, especially after the School has recently acquired some snazzy new kit to play with!

The event starts at 1.00 pm and finishes around 5.00 pm. It’s 8-a-side where everyone bats in pairs and can bowl underarm or overarm. Players can turn up and join a side on the day.
