Prep Charity news

This year Headington Prep School has been raising money for Safe and SSNAP as well as supporting the education of three school children in the town of Beni, in the Congo. Our Charity Reps, Noor, Bella, Rebecka, Evelyn, Tilly and Alice, all from Year 6 have been a fantastic team and invaluable, running many of the organised events.

Last term, decorating pencil cases raised £702.72, the Year 4 cake sale £160.78, the Language Non-uniform Day £113.87 and the ‘Movemoremonth’ event £190.30, bringing our total so far to a fantastic £3733.31.

As well as raising money in school, some girls have shown initiative and have been doing it outside school as well. Noor (Year 6) and her sister Mariyah (Year 4) recently raised £100 for Sobell House by writing a play and performing it to their family during Ramadan. Olivia (Year 6) and her sister Millie (Year 3) also raising £84.10 for Cancer Research UK, baking cakes for their neighborhood. Well done girls!
