House Cooking Competition
The heat was on in the kitchen as Headington staged its first House Cooking Competition.
Each competitive house chose a team of two ‘chefs’ to face the challenge to prepare, cook and serve a stirfry in 45 minutes. They were judged on categories including hygiene and safety, preparation, hob and knife skills, team work and collaboration as well as appearance, taste and texture.
After the dishes were served and tasted and points totted up, the winning house was announced to be Latimer, with Ford in second and Windrush third.
Congratulations to all those taking part!
